Bernard is an interventional and general cardiologist at North Shore Hospital, where he is the Director of the Cardiology Research. Bernard also consults at North Shore based private practices: the Cardiology Institute and Waitemata Cardiology.

Bernard is actively involved with cardiology research and is an experienced speaker at international conferences. Originally from Hong Kong, Bernard is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.
